Scope: This standard specifies the liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry method for the determination of triazine herbicides atrazine, simazine, prometon and phenylurea herbicides chlortoluron, isoproturon and other herbicide residues in water. This standard applies to the determination of triazine and phenylurea herbicide residues in water for farmland irrigation, surface water, and groundwater. The detection limit of this standard: promethazine is 0.05 μg/L, and atrazine, simazine, chlorotoluron and isoproturon are 0.25 μg/L.
