Scope

This standard specifies the method of dispersing pigments and extender pigments using a Hubermuller. This test method is intended for comparison of small samples in pigment quality control. This standard uses an agreed upon high viscosity binder system that is not compatible with volatile solvents, and is used in conjunction with the evaluation methods of JIS K 5101-5-1 to JIS K 5101-5-3.
