Scope

This standard specifies the method for evaluating the dispersibility of pigments dispersed by the methods specified in JIS K 5101-1-1 to JIS K 5101-1-6 based on changes in specular gloss. Refer to JIS K 5101-1-1. This method is generally used to compare a test pigment against a similar pigment, for example a comparison pigment agreed upon between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
