This standard specifies the performance requirements and location for keylock starting devices or other equivalent means to prevent unauthorized starting of earthmoving machines. This standard applies to all earthmoving machines specified in JIS A 8308. Please note that this standard is not intended to protect authorized operators or prevent misuse, destruction, or theft of machinery.
