This standard applies to alloy steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) used for transferring heat inside and outside the pipe, such as boiler water pipes, smoke pipes, superheater pipes, air preheater pipes, etc. in the chemical and petroleum industries. Specifies heat exchanger tubes, condenser tubes, catalyst tubes, etc. However, this does not apply to steel pipes for heating furnaces and steel pipes for low-temperature heat exchangers.
