- Scope
- This standard specifies the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality instructions of hot-rolled and hot-forged structural steels with guaranteed hardenability. This standard is applicable to hot-rolled and hot-forged structural steel bars with a diameter or thickness of not less than 30 mm for machinery manufacturing with guaranteed hardenability. Use the end quenching method to measure or calculate the hardenability of steel according to the formula.
