Scope

1.1 This specification covers the composition, size, dimensions, and physical properties of glass fiber blanket thermal and acoustical insulation for use up to 700176;F (370176;C) in aircraft applications. For specific applications, the maximum temperature shall be agreed upon between the supplier and the purchaser.
