Uniform test methods make quality comparisons of hose easier and more meaningful, and are more economical particularly when the same rubber vulcanizates are used in different types, constructions, or sizes of hose.
1.1 These test methods cover procedures for inspection and test of all types and constructions of rubber hose.
1.2 In case of conflict between provisions of these test methods and those of detailed specifications or test methods for a particular hose, the latter shall take precedence.
