Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of the autoignition temperature of flammable liquids and gases, petroleum products and their mixtures between 75°C and 650°C. The auto-ignition temperature is a measure of the tendency of combustibles to ignite when in contact with hot objects and mixed with air, and is used to classify combustibles safely.
