Scope: This standard specifies the method of particle size analysis by sedimentation analysis in the gravity field - pipette method. This standard is applicable to the pipette method for measuring the cumulative particle size distribution curve of solid substances dispersed in liquids (according to DIN 66141). The pipette device used has a settling velocity equivalent diameter range of 1 μm to 250 μm.
