Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for checking the structural integrity of filter elements by using the bubble point and determining the pressure of the first bubble point. This standard is applicable to the structural integrity and first bubble point pressure measurement test of filter elements used in hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, fuel oil and other fluid systems.
