Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of unsaturated polyester resin (hereinafter referred to as resin) for mechanical molding of fiber-reinforced plastics. This standard applies to unsaturated polyester resins using styrene as the main cross-linking monomer and used in sintering, molding, pultrusion, and continuous sheet processes.
