Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements and performance measurement methods for water-based fracturing fluids, oil-based fracturing fluids, emulsion fracturing fluids and viscoelastic surfactant fracturing fluids. This standard is applicable to the performance evaluation of fracturing fluids used for hydraulic fracturing in oil and gas fields.
