- This standard specifies the construction methods, processes and logging data collection requirements for radionuclide carrier method tracer logging (hereinafter referred to as radioactive tracer logging). This standard is applicable to the oilfield radioactive tracer method for measuring the water injection profile of water injection wells and for finding channels and leaks in production wells and water injection wells. Radioactive tracer logging can also be used as a reference to evaluate fracturing and plugging effects.
