- This standard specifies the construction technical requirements for drying natural gas transmission pipelines. This standard applies to the drying construction technology of newly built, renovated and expanded natural gas transmission pipelines. Drying of other media pipelines can be carried out by reference. In this standard, dry air drying method and vacuum drying method should be used for pipeline and station drying; nitrogen drying method should be used for station process pipeline drying; desiccant drying method should be used for pipeline drying.
