Scope

This standard specifies the general and detailed requirements for the design, manufacture (modification) and verification of aero-engine flight platforms. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing (modification) and post-construction test verification of turbojet, turbofan, and turboprop engine flight platforms. The turboshaft engine flight platform can be used as a reference.
