Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements and bench test methods for automotive hydraulic brake master cylinders. This standard applies to automobile tandem dual-chamber hydraulic brake master cylinder assembly (hereinafter referred to as hydraulic brake master cylinder). Other types of hydraulic brake master cylinders can be implemented by reference.
