Scope

Covers hermetic refrigerant motor-compressors that are (1) intended for use in air-conditioning and refrigerating equipment that complies with the standards applicable to such equipment and (2) rated up to 600 volts AC. Motor protection systems that may be provided with these comoressors are also covered.
