Scope

This part of GB/T 3386 specifies methods for determining the performance of all electric and pneumatic analog drawing recorders operating with standardized signals for process control, including continuous scribing and dotting recorders and multi-pen and multi-point recorders. Some tests may not be applicable to all recorders, and additional tests may be required for certain types of recorders. The purpose of this standard is to specify uniform test methods for the performance evaluation of electric and pneumatic analog chart recorders for process control operating with standardized signals. When a comprehensive assessment according to this part is not required, only the required tests may be carried out. The test results shall be included in the test report in accordance with the requirements of the relevant provisions of this part. The test report should state that the assessment described in the report is not a comprehensive assessment and indicate omitted items.
