- This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of amorphous and nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy strips. This standard applies to the manufacture of distribution transformers, intermediate frequency transformers, high frequency switching power supply transformers, pulse transformers, transformers, filter inductors and reactors, common mode inductors, magnetic amplifiers and saturated inductors, sensors and other iron cores and magnetic shielding.
