- Part 3 of DIN 4223 covers the calculation and design of walls composed of autoclaved aerated concrete components with non-structural reinforcement (handling reinforcement). Such components may be arranged horizontally or vertically and shall be fully bonded lengthwise using smoothly applied thin-bed mortar.
