Scope

This standard specifies highly flexible, rated voltage 300/300V rubber or cross-linked vinyl insulated, rubber or cross-linked vinyl sheathed cords for use in electric irons, etc. All cables shall comply with the applicable requirements of JIS C 3663-1 and the specific requirements of this standard. Note: The corresponding international standards for this standard are shown below. The symbols representing the degree of correspondence are IDT (matched), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) based on ISO/IEC Guide 21.
