1.1 Applicable pressure vessels This standard applies to the structure and fittings of pressure vessels with a design pressure of less than 30 MPa. A pressure vessel is a vessel that maintains a pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure, a vessel that contains a fluid that generates pressure, or a vessel that receives external pressure (hereinafter referred to as a “pressure vessel”). However, the following pressure vessels are not included.
