Scope

This standard specifies the design, construction, and installation requirements for low-voltage DC electrical equipment that operates at a DC voltage of 50 V or less and is installed on boats with a length of 24 m or less. Engine wiring requirements relating to engine manufacturers are not specified in this standard.
