- This standard defines guidelines for organizing and implementing user evaluations of disposable urinary absorption aids for adults, and provides guidelines for data collection tools. In particular, this International Standard gives a framework for deriving and documenting the user's and caregiver's views on product performance. Furthermore, this standard describes an optional method for determining product leakage performance, age of use, and urine retention. This standard does not contain direct comparisons of products based on statistical parameters.
