- This standard stipulates the quality requirements, tolerances, packaging, appearance and labeling of fresh apples for each grade. This standard is applicable to Fuji, Marshal, Golden Crown, Gala, Fujimu No. 1, Huaxia, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Jonagold, Qinguan, Guoguang, Huaguan, Red General, Shanxia, Wanglin Apples (Malus domestica Borkh.) supplied to consumers in fresh fruit, excluding apples intended for processing. Other varieties not listed can also be used by reference.
