Scope
This part of GB/T 6109 specifies the requirements for single-coat 200-grade enamelled round copper wires based on polyamide esterimide resins. Class 200 indicates a thermal class, which requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a thermal shock temperature of at least 220°C. The Celsius temperature corresponding to the temperature index is not the recommended temperature for magnet wire use, because it depends on many factors including the type of equipment used. The nominal diameter range of conductors specified in this part is: - Class 1: 0.071 mm and above and 1.600 mm and below; - Class 2: 0.071 mm and above and 0.500 mm and below. The nominal diameter of the conductor shall comply with the regulations in Chapter 4 of GB/T 6109.1-2008.
