GB/T 17454.2-2008 Safety of machinery.Pressure-sensitive protective devices.Part 2:General principles for design and testing of pressure-sensitive edges and pressure-sensitive bars (English Version)
This standard specifies the general principles and requirements for the design and testing of pressure-sensitive edges and pressure-sensitive rods when used as safety devices. At this time, the pressure sensitive edge and pressure sensitive rod are not used as actuating means for normal operation. Pressure-sensitive edges and pressure-sensitive rods with or without external reset can be used to sense the human body or parts of the human body exposed to hazards such as dangerous moving parts. This part mainly describes the relationship between safety and reliability (see Appendix D in GB/T 16855.1-2005 for the relationship between safety and reliability), and does not involve the relationship between safety and suitability. This part of GB/T 17454 is limited to describing the function of the pressure-sensitive edge and pressure-sensitive rod, and does not specify the requirements for their application, but Chapter 6 contains the requirements for the use information provided by the manufacturer. Pressure-sensitive edges or pressure-sensitive rods for specific applications, the dimensions of which are not specified in this standard. This section does not apply to those stop devices (including emergency stop devices) that comply with GB 5226.1 and are only used for normal operation of machinery. Additional requirements need to be considered for the use of pressure-sensitive edges and pressure-sensitive sticks in places easily accessible by the elderly, disabled or children.
