This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the unified requirements for measuring optical fiber macrobending sensitivity. This part is suitable for measuring the macrobending loss of class B single-mode fiber at 1550nm or 1625nm wavelength and class A1 multimode fiber at 850nm and (or) 1300nm wavelength, so as to test the macrobending sensitivity of the fiber at the specified wavelength. This section applies to commercial inspection of optical fiber cables.
