Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and purchase order (or contract) content of copper and copper alloy wire rods. This standard applies to round, square, regular hexagonal copper and copper alloy wires used in various industrial sectors.
