Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of copper wire blanks for electrical purposes. This standard applies to copper wire blanks with a diameter of 6.0 mm to 35.0 mm, which are used for further drawing of wire rods or other copper conductors for electrical purposes.
