Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining yarn shrinkage in fabrics. This standard is applicable to most woven fabrics. It is not suitable for fabrics where the curl on the yarn cannot be eliminated under a certain straightening tension, and the yarn is damaged during the weaving, finishing and analysis process of this method.
