Scope
This standard specifies additional tests for verifying the stability of vehicles performing stacking operations on level ground with the load at its maximum lift position and the mast tilted forward (see Figure 1). This standard applies to the following vehicles (but does not include stability tests under normal operating conditions): a) counterbalanced forklifts with a tiltable mast for all rated lifting capacities; b) with a tiltable mast , forward-moving (telescopic mast or fork) and leg-type forklifts with a lifting capacity not greater than 10,000 kg; c) pallet stackers and high-lift trucks with a tiltable mast and a lifting capacity of Platform stacker. This standard does not apply to vehicles that carry suspended loads that can swing freely.
