Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the maturity of cotton fiber according to the comparison method of the cavity cell wall of cotton fiber or the method of polarizing maturity meter. This standard is applicable to the test of cotton fiber maturity coefficient, maturity ratio and mature fiber percentage of fine-staple cotton, long-staple cotton and cotton yarns and threads without chemical treatment.
