- This part specifies the USAT technical requirements for the Cu interface between the Universal User Identity Module (USIM) and the terminal (ME) of the TD-SCDMA/WCDMA digital cellular mobile communication network. It mainly includes commands, application protocols, data structures and each link between the USIM and the terminal. A required requirement for a basic process. This section does not include any management phase content. USIM and terminals only specify the internal technical implementation reflected on the Cu interface, and do not include any security algorithms that may be used. This section applies to USIMs with USAT capabilities and various types of WCDMA, TD-SCDMA and TD-SCDMA/WCDMA dual-mode terminals that support USAT.
