- This part specifies the technical requirements for the application characteristics of the Cu interface between the universal subscriber identity module (USIM) and the terminal (ME) of the TD-SCDMA/WCDMA digital cellular mobile communication network, including the file structure, content and terminal related to USIM application, USIM application Supported application protocols, security features and USIM commands. This section applies to TD-SCDMA terminals, WCDMA terminals, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA dual-mode terminals, TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode terminals, WCDMA/GSM dual-mode terminals and ID-1 type and Plug-in types with USIM applications universal integrated circuit card, and the Cu interface between USIM and the terminal.
