Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods for the acoustic characteristic parameters of ultrasonic imitation tissue materials. This standard applies to the measurement of the density of ultrasonic imitation tissue materials and their sound velocity, sound attenuation coefficient and backscatter coefficient within the frequency range of 1MHz to 10MHz. Such materials are mainly used to make ultrasonic phantoms.
