Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and storage of marine quick-closing valves (hereinafter referred to as quick-closing valves) whose flange connection dimensions are in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of quick-closing valves used in fuel oil and other oil ship piping systems.
