Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging and storage of marine blind steel flanges (hereinafter referred to as blind flanges) whose flange connection dimensions are in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of blind flanges whose nominal pressure is not greater than 1.6 MP_a, and whose media are air, sea water, fresh water, oil and steam with an operating temperature not higher than 300°C.
