Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements for clean production in the calcium carbide industry. This standard divides cleaner production indicators into six categories, namely production process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, product indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before terminal treatment), waste recycling indicators and environmental management requirements. This standard is applicable to the cleaner production audit of calcium carbide production enterprises, the judgment of cleaner production potential and opportunities, the assessment of cleaner production performance and the announcement of cleaner production performance. It is also applicable to environmental management systems such as environmental impact assessment and pollution discharge licenses.
