This standard has the aim of:
——prescribing the method and operating methods for determining the cooling power exchanged in direct expansion evaporators with heating of the refrigerant fluid, without the use of intermediate fluids;
——prescribe which data should be collected by this measurement method, the formulas for calculating the cooling capacity in the test conditions and in pre-established reference conditions and the data to be presented. The method of the present r.?,ma is suggested up to an evaporator power of 20 000 kcal/h (23 260 W).
