This standard establishes requirements for light sources appropriate for use in the sensitometric exposure of photographic materials, both black and white and colour. The spectral characteristics of the exposure radiant energy closely correspond to the spectral energy distribution of average illumination with a photoflood lamp modified by the spectral transmission of a typical photographic lens (see table III), with the exception of infrared rays.
