The method of the present unification serves to determine the fastness of dyes on textiles, in all their transformation phases, during the manufacturing process consisting in eliminating vegetal impurities, by treatment with aluminum chloride at high temperature. The method is especially valid for wool and for mixed fibers containing wool and other textile fibres, particularly for those containing acetate or polyamide fibres.
