UNI S 9-1941 Liquid fuel for engines. Calculation of the transition of a liquid fuel from high heat generating capacity performance to low heat generating capacity performance
This table is used to calculate quickly and, in almost all cases, with sufficient approximation, the lower calorific value Hi of a liquid fuel (be it a mixture of hydrocarbons or a mixture of hydrocarbons, alcohols and possibly benzene ( 1) ) assuming that the higher calorific value Hs is known through experimentation (see NOM M 22-^38). This table refers in particular to aviation and automotive fuels (petrol, fuel mixtures, diesel).
