In the present unification, the procedure for determining the resistance of glass to attack by a boiling aqueous solution, composed of equal volumes of sodium carbonate solution N and sodium hydrate solution N, is established. The resistance is evaluated through a weight loss measurement referring to the surface unit of the glass.
