This standard describes the sampling method of raw rubber to be followed to determine the size of the sample to be tested and the methods for sampling it. The sampling method described is mainly valid for arbitration disputes and is optional for production quality controls. The standard considers raw rubber in bales, in sheets, or in granules, in chips and in powder and packaged in bags or various containers. In any case, the bale, bag or container is considered as the unit to be collected.
