This standard describes a method for determining the color fastness of textiles to hot washing. It considers five different types of washing which, together, cover the range of tests for determining the color fastness of textiles to washing, from the mildest to the most severe conditions. The choice of the type of test must be made according to the nature of the textile, in agreement between the parties.
