This unification concerns general information on tests to determine the effects that various liquids have on vulcanized elastomers. In general, these tests consist in the treatment of a test tube in a liquid under specific and controlled conditions and in defining the effects of the predicted treatment by evaluating the variation of some physical or mechanical characteristics (for example: specific weight, tensile strength, etc. .). This variation is deduced from determinations carried out before and after the treatment.
