This unification has the purpose of indicating the series of yarn counts for normal processing expressed in tex (see UNI 4783 and UNI 4784). 2 This unification concerns yarns produced using the cotton system, i.e.:
——cotton yarns, pure and mixed;
——staple yarn of artificial fibres, pure and mixed;
——staple yarn of synthetic fibres, pure and mixed;
——staple yarn of other fibres, pure and mixed.
