Establishes the method of spectrophotometric measurement of the color of glass. The color of an object essentially depends on the following three factors: spectral distribution of the light emitted by the light source that illuminates it; spectral transmission or reflection factor, in the field of visible radiation, of the illuminated and observed object; color sensitivity of the observer's eye. Fundamental notions: trichromatic components and colorimetric diagram, dominant wavelength and purity, luminance.
